IMA: The Cleopatra Mystery, Between Myth and History

A new gem to explore: The Cleopatra Mystery exhibition at the Arab World Institute (June 1, 2025 – January 11, 2026) lifts the veil on Egypt’s last queen. Blending archaeological artifacts, opera costumes, video projections, and contemporary works, the exhibit traces how her legend was built—from political power to cultural icon.

You’ll discover recent historical findings (coins and papyri) and an immersive scenography evoking the grandeur of the Ptolemaic world.
